WESTPORT HIGH SCHOOL P&C
The Parents and Citizens
Association, which is affiliated with the NSW Federation of P&C, is a
dedicated group of parents and carers who volunteer their time to assist
Westport High students. They do this by helping to provide them with academic,
sporting and cultural resources and provide funds to the school to benefit all
students.
The P&C
runs the canteen each school day, the uniform shop once a week and the bi
monthly community markets held in the school grounds on the 2nd and 4th
Sundays of each month. The proceeds from these ventures directly assist our
students.
Our Finance Committee reports
the needs of the school to the General Meetings together with reports from our
three fundraising ventures. The Principal also presents a report and time is
made for questions during the meeting.
Research indicates that
students do better with their education when their parents are actively engaged
with the school. So we invite you to become an active member of the P&C and get
first hand information. Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month in
the school Library at 7.00pm
